I got into a great discussion about Attitudes. First; What are you Telling Yourself??? When you look at things as negative you will perceive things as more stressful. For instance if you tell yourself something is âdifficultâ or âunfairâ, it becomes more stressful to deal with than if you tell yourself itâs a âchallengeâ, or even a âtestâ. Using self-talk that is optimistic rathrer than pessimistic has stress management benefits, productivity benefits and even health benefits that have been proven by research.  Experts tell us that a great majority of our (self-talk) is negative or limiting. We are causing ourselves more problems when we use limiting speech or negative thoughts.
If you say âI canât handle thisâ, you more likely you canât. This is because your subconscious mind tends to believe the thoughts it hears. You can limit your abilities by telling yourself you âcanâtâ, orâthis is too hardâ or that you âshouldnât even tryâ. If you think you Can’t do something it tends to be a self fulfilling prophesy. Another study showed that optimists at age 25 were significantly healthier at ages 45 and 60 than those who were pessimists. Other studies have linked a pessimistic explanatory style with higher rates of infectious disease, poor health, and earlier mortality.  Improve your health by having a POSITIVE ATTITUDE. <>< Mark
