Love Language #5 is Physical Touch. Studies have shown that babies need to be held in order to develop into healthy children and I believe the same is true for adults. We need physical touch. However some of us see Physical touch as the best way to express and receive Love.
Those of you who know me know that I am a hugger. Physical touch means more to me than many other people. Remember that there are appropriate and inappropriate ways to touch people in our society so be careful. If physical touch is your or your loved one’s favorite language you may still need to learn the best “dialect.” For some sexual touch is the way they share love but to others with the same love language they may find that holding hands and snuggling on the couch expresses love even better. Physical touch is a powerful love language so make sure you communicate to your spouse or loved one the best way or the dialect that speaks love to you best. <>< Mark
Awesome blog on the love language of touch. I love to squeeze and hug my sons and have since they were born.
