Once upon a time…when people wanted to own something they had to have the money for it. Now in the more Civilized time we live in all you need is CREDIT. You can go into DEBT for just about anything. Houses, cars, food, movie tickets, dinner out, whatever. I think the only place that won’t take your credit is the Government. The IRS still wants cash.
It used to be that if you wanted a house you and your friends would build one. I guess the Amish still do that. The rest of us would have a hard time without credit. But I recently heard that the average American household has over $15,519 just in Credit Card debt. That doesn’t count homes, cars, boats, equity loans etc. All of this debt has ruined many families, it creates stress and it takes away the freedom of spending decisions. When we are in debt we have less spendable cash, we pay someone else just to loan us the money, so everything we buy costs more than it should. If you are in debt make a plan on how to get rid of that debt so that you can enjoy more spending freedom. If you need help give me a call. <>< Mark
