We have reviewed each of the 5 LOVE Languages; Words of Affirmation, Quality Time, Receiving Gifts, Acts of Service and Physical Touch. Remember the concept of the Love Tank. When we express Love in a way our spouse likes we make a deposit into their Love bank. If we do things that show them that we don’t really Love them we make withdrawals. We all unfortunately, make mistakes at times so the concept is for us to make sure that there are plenty of Love deposits to cover any withdrawals.
One word of Caution. If your Loved one’s Love language is Spending Quality time for instance, then if you read the paper or watch TV when they want to talk you will make a bigger withdrawal then if their Love language was, say Acts of Service. Similarly if their Love language is Physical touch and you use touch to push them away it is a bigger withdrawal than to someone that has, Gifts as their love language. Learn your Love language and that of your spouse and Love each other well. <>< Mark
